Scott Carpenter Park in Boulder

We tried to go back to Eldora a 2nd day in 2 vehicles but when one is AWD and the other RWD, only one was making it up the mountain after a snow storm the night before. So we decided to let Matt and his friend go skiing and Dave, Kate and I found a park in Boulder to do some sledding. We had taken Nick to daycare in hopes that we could all go skiing. Kate was going to take her first ski lesson but they will just have to come again next year! And then Nick and Kate can both take lessons!

Eldora Ski Resort

Uncle Dave and Cousin Kate came to visit us and since there wasn't any snow in Fort Collins we drove up to Eldora to play in the snow! The kids had fun making snow angels and throwing snowballs....ok yes, the big boys did too! Matt offered to take the kids back home while Dave and I went for some runs down the mountain. It was a perfect day to do a little snowboarding! Next year we are going to get season passes because Nick will be old enough to take some lessons and military gets a great discount! :o)

When Nicholas saw all of the presents under the tree he was the only one in the room but I could hear him say "OH WOW!"  I kept forgetting to take pictures as he was opening them but of course as you can see he got lots and lots of trains!

Black Hawk

We took advantage of a day off while Nick went to daycare and we drove over to Black Hawk to do a little gambling.  Matt and Vinny participated in a no limit hold'em tournament and I played the poker and Keno slots.  We had a great time and I just took a few pics.
